Fees
Medicare
With a referral from your GP or Specialist (a Mental Health Care Plan MHCP), you may be eligible to access a Medicare rebate for psychology services.
The cost for a psychology appointment under Medicare will be $200 which needs to be paid at the time of the appointment. Medicare will provide a rebate of $96.65
Private
You can choose to access psychology appointments privately at the full fee of $200 per appointment payable at the time of the appointment.
Alternately you may be able to claim appointments through your private health insurance. These appointments will need to be paid in full at the time of the appointment. A receipt will be provided to take to your health insurance provider to claim.
Please note, each health fund is different, and you will need to contact them to ensure your coverage.
Worker Compensation & Insurance
Referrals for psychology appointments through the Workers Compensation Scheme are available. To book your initial consult, you will need to have written approval from your insurer.
Victim Services
Referrals for psychology appointments through Victims Services are available. To book your initial consult, you will need your Victims Services reference number.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
Not available at this time
The APS National Schedule of Suggested Fees 2024-2025 has the standard 45 to 60-minute consultation fee at $311.
Ortiger Psychology is a private fee practice, and as such we unfortunately do not Bulk Bill any of our Psychology Services.
