What happens in a Psychology appointment?

In an initial session you and your Psychologist would spend some time discussing current life circumstances and past history to help clarify the current issues/problems and consider how you would like your life to be different due to therapy.

In following sessions you may set goals, learn skills and strategies, work towards changes as identified in the initial session and discuss any current stressors.

Sessions are often mostly conversational however you may be asked to fill out some questionnaires depending on your circumstances.
